The Major Reuben Colburn House was the home of Reuben Colburn, a patriot and shipbuilder of Pittston, Maine from 1765 to 1818. Colburn assisted George Washington and Benedict Arnold in the planning and provisioning of the invasion of Canada. Colburn House State Historic Site Arnold Rd., Old ME 27. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 28 July 2004. The Colburn House is managed by the Arnold Expedition Historical Society and owned by the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands. The house is known as Colburn House State Historic Site.
